What do you do after you’ve won the 2001 Rookie of the Year Award, played professional basketball for four NBA teams and started your own energy drink company?
The next logical step would be to team up with an underwear brand, and that’s exactly what Memphis Grizzlies forward Mike Miller has done. Miller has recently joined cult underwear brand PSD Underwear, who are known for their dedication to bringing men’s underwear to professional sports, extreme sports, and hip hop communities. PSD makes sure to bring the latest trends to their garments, which are created using excellent fabrics and materials. Started in 2007 by two brothers from upstate New York, the Flaitz boys promoted their product by touring the US in an RV and reaching out to potential customers one state at a time.
Miller was first introduced to PSD Underwear through his energy drink company, Life Natural, and he was immediately impressed by the Flaitz’s business model and life on the road. “The business makes sense; everyone needs at least seven pairs of underwear,” Miller said.
The Spring 2014 collection will be Miller’s first time with the brand; and, their collaborations will be available starting the month of January on their website and in selected retailers and e-commerce websites. The collection will sell for $20-$25 and it will be available in sizes S-XL, plus an XLY size for customers who fit the same stature as Miller.
