Australia’s very own Sunny Burns is having the time of his life; and, as the muse of rising shutterbug Cameron Mackie, as well as a client of Vivien’s Model Management, it isn’t difficult to see why.
Shot at the prominent Clovelly, New South Wales, located on Sydney’s beach-side Eastern Suburbs, the posh beach-bum rises from the narrow bay, surfboard in tow, brunette locks dangling from his chiseled mug. With names that recall images of emerging Sunset Strip rock gods or the Golden Age’s leading men, Sunny Burns and Cameron Mackie team up to evoke just that in their work together.
Styled by Mackie’s partner-in-crime Marisa Mae, Burns woos and breaks hearts in photos that include a pair of turquoise board shorts, black insulated bike shorts, a polyester Billabong baseball tee-styled thermal and a skin-tight, body-defining black rubber wet suit. Among the designers? Volcom, The Royal Aquamarine, The Local Supply, Speedo, and New Balance.
Relatively unknown, it’s only a matter of time before Sunny Burns becomes a big name in the world of men’s fashion; the model recently appeared in a few international magazines, and will fly to Tokyo in January under the management of Exiles Models.
