Rufskin presents its new swimwear range that offers bold color contrasting and a soft microfiber fabric. Currently available for the spring/summer season, the Rufskin Metalik swimwear collection consists of the Filip brief ($52), Pignat brief ($52) and Martin trunks ($58).
The Rufskin Metalik swimwear collection is part of the brand’s spring/summer 2013 collection, which draws inspiration from the essence and colors of the Catalonia region near southern France and Spain. Hubert Pouches, co-owner and head designer of Rufskin, conceived this stylish swimwear range from his personal experiences in this region.
“I am from Catalonia, I grew up there going to dance clubs in Cadaques and Ibiza,” said Pouches. “After traveling all around, I realized that part of the world that I come from is pretty awesome.”
The Metalik swimwear collection is made from 83% nylon and 17% spandex and offers a body defining fit. The Martin swim trunks are designed to be fitted, but not skin tight. The metallic cobalt blue nylon and spandex outer layer is lined with the brand’s premium polyester and spandex fabric blend. A handy pocket on the left thigh is enclosed with a rubber tipped zipper for safely storing important items. The covered elastic waistband is white, with additional trims in black for a sophisticated look.
The collection’s briefs provide fun color combinations. The European style Filip brief boldly pairs a rich, metallic olive hue with a black waistband and trim for a sexy, suave look. The nylon spandex outer layer is lined with mesh in the front pouch, giving this speedo a deluxe feel. The Pignat brief is made from metallic copper nylon spandex, with a contrasting white waistband and drawstring. It is similar to a sunga, but higher cut over the legs and more fitted all around. The front is lined with stretch mesh for optimum comfort and the vertical seam in the back will enhance the butt.
The Rufskin Metalik swimwear collection is available in S-L.
