We reported last week on the Undy 5000 5k charity race in Denver, Colorado. Now the race is set to hit Seattle.
This Saturday, at Seattle’s Emerald Downs, participants will be running in their skivvies to help raise money for Colon Cancer Research.
Runners are able to register online before the event, or at the race itself the day of. Registration in-person starts at 7:30 a.m., Saturday, June 30th, with the event starting fully shortly after at 9 a.m.
The race was created in 2008 by Colon Cancer Alliance, the nation’s largest and oldest colon cancer advocacy organization. The CCA uses the race to stress the importance of timely colon cancer screenings, early detection, and provides support for those already affected by the disease.
Registrants can use the code “EXPERT” for $5 off their registration.
