#TBT: Best of Wood (Armando Adajar Edition)

Wood-Feature

With every photo he takes, photographer Armando Adajar strives to capture the essence of the Wood brand flawlessly. It starts by carefully choosing the photo shoot locations. His photo shoots feature bedroom settings and other similar private environments that allow him to work with the underwear model on a more intimate level. The Wood photo shoots typically have a hot and heavy theme to it, the models are frequently seen with their underwear slyly peeking out of their pants or brazenly lifting up their shirt to offer a closer view of their abs and boxer shorts. Today, we wanted to do a throwback that features some of our favorite Wood photos, Armando Adajar style.

Armando does a great job with appreciating the male body form and shooting an up-close look at the athletic fit of the Wood underwear boxers. Armando focuses on the Wood underwear nicely in each shot. The shades of the room correlate beautifully with the colors of the Wood underwear. The models are free to ooze sex appeal; they can gaze openly at the camera and give off a devastatingly sexy stare and smize to their heart’s content. Armando uses a different mix of moods in his photo shoots: bold, confident, casual, athletic and alluring. In shots 6-9, the underwear model lifts up his top before taking it off entirely and posing shirtless with the Wood apparel. All of the photos feature an effortless and casual feeling.

Scroll through for a curated selection of Armando’s recent work — images that are simultaneously poised but still remain natural and sensual. The pictures feel sexy, intimate, and exciting. Armando does a fantastic job of communicating the Wood underwear brand’s approachable and accessible philosophy through pictures. Check it out below.
