Fancy yourself a bookworm? We at the Underwear Expert, as well as many people around the world, love to read. A great story to awaken your imagination and test your critical thinking, alongside a nice fire is a night in I dream about often. Torio features styles with fun prints that can match up great with some amazing books, check out Torio’s Reading List below.

Gulliver’s Travels: It’s the story of Lemuel Gulliver, an Englishman trained as a surgeon who takes to the seas when his business fails. He wakes up after a shipwreck bound and captured by the tiny Lilliputians. The Gulliver Print matches perfectly for Gulliver’s Travels. The graphic shows tiny people tying down a banana, which matches the story and also adds a little banana pun to the fun!

People in the Trees: A doctor named Norton Perina joines anthropologist Paul Tallent for an expedition to the remote Micronesian island of Ivu’ivu in search of a lost tribe. They succeed, finding not only that tribe but also a group of forest dwellers who live longer but are more senile. He kills a turtle whom is rumored to be the source of the longevity of these people and smuggles the meat back to the States to prove his thesis, which he does but then has to face consequences. The Bird People trunks match this story well as well. The sexual nature of the print highlights the sexual undertones in the book and the actual bird people themselves match up perfectly with the found forest dwellers.

Fight Club: We follow a nameless narrator who is stressed out because of work and experiencing extreme insomnia. His doctor suggests he go to terminally ill support groups to “see what real suffering is like” so he goes and ends up continuing to go and fake an illness so he can sleep better. He eventually meets Tyler Durden who he then moves in with and starts The Fight Club to combat stress, read the book to find out what happens next! The Cigarette Smoke style fits well with Fight Club. The cigarette smoke symbolizes the degeneration of the narrator throughout the story.

Torio's Reading List 3
A Walk in the Woods: Bill Bryson, a travel writer attempts to walk the Appalachian Trail with his friend Stephen. This is a humorous account of his journey mixed in with matters relating to the trail’s history, and the surrounding sociology, ecology, trees, plants, animals and people. The Camo Boxer Briefs are perfectly matched with this book because camo is to the woods as peanut butter is to jelly. The camo print is also in the shape of animals which also fits in perfectly with the subject matter of this book.

Torio's Reading List 4

I am Legend and Other Stories: Robert Neville is the last living man on Earth, but he is not alone. He’s surrounded by vampires and zombies. He has to kill zombies by day and hide from vampires at night. The Bone boxer brief features bones all over, the bones match up with the last man on earth, survival, killing storyline of this book.

Torio's Reading List 5
Open City: A Nigerian doctor doing his residency in NYC is wandering aimlessly. His walks are a release from the tightly regulated mental environment of work, and they give him the opportunity to process his relationships, his recent breakup with his girlfriend, his present, his past. So he’s processing his pain which works great with the Bandage boxer brief. This style features bandages all over it which would symbolize the doctor trying to process and deal with his pain.
