Item Reviewed:  Claesen’s “No1” Boxer Brief

About the product: The Claesen’s “No1” Boxer brief/trunk is made from a Supima or Superior Prima cotton and broken down into 90% Pima cotton and 10% lycra. The continuous black brief features a pouch and a reinforced double-lined waistband. On both the back and front of the brief the company logo is featured in white. Inside the brief features a stitched tag with the information for size and wash care for that particular product.

What we like: The Claesen’s “No1” Boxer brief/trunk shows a great neutral shade of black. The pouch in the front adds support and comfort. The reinforced double waistband is great in that it stays in place and doesn’t move during day-to-day activity like others do. The longer leg coverage is a nice addition for comfort while also bringing a classic feel to a modern fit. The overall look is very subtle, but it still brings a flattering look to the wearer.

What we don’t like: The tag in the back of the brief was at first very comfortable, but after repeated washing and wearing, it got very irritating; the stitching used for the inside tag was done poorly, and the material it was sown with is very rigid, leading to discomfort.

When we’d wear them: Good go to for a long day at the office, a great compliment for a swanky evening out, lounging around the house.

Who we’d recommend them to: Anyone who likes snug yet comfortable-fitting underwear, those who may experience riding up in either the crotch or leg area, those who experience waistband movement issues.

Describe these underwear in 3 words: Classic. Comfortable. Flattering.
