Review: James Tudor Accent Brief

Item Reviewed: James Tudor Accent Brief

About the product: The defining feature of the James Tudor Accent Brief is its unique pouch. Though the pouch isn’t quite contoured, it does fully unbutton and feature James Tudor’s signature buttons and piping detail. The fabric is composed of a 95% cotton-5% elastane blend, the cut sits at a lower rise and the elastic waistband is striped featuring the James Tudor brand name prominently.

What we like: We loved the design of this pair. As we noted above, the buttons are a signature of James Tudor underwear, but we’re of the opinion that you don’t see enough buttons on underwear these days. The unique pouch was fun (and it actually opens!), and we also liked the bold, contrasting colors.

What we don’t like: While we wouldn’t say that the fit of the Accent Brief’s brief was bad, we wouldn’t say we loved it either. It tended to be a little tight all the way around, especially in the back, and the pouch could’ve used a bit more room.

When we’d wear them: The James Tudor Accent Brief is ideal for everyday wear.

Who we’d recommend them to: For whatever reason, this pair’s look seemed to have a nautical theme to us. So if you love to sail (or maybe just love sailors) this pair is for you.

Describe these underwear in 3 words: Unique. Fun. Slim.
