Item Reviewed: Alexander Cobb Yellow River Slip Brief

About the product: The Alexander Cobb Yellow River Slip Brief has a low rise, starting at a 1 1/2 inch waistband. The band is black with a slight silver sheen and has the company’s “AC” logo largely featured front and center in silver. The front sides have “COBB” written in slightly smaller silver font, and “Alexander” is written in small font in the same color on the left and right sides at the back. There is a small tag below the band on the left side that features the Danish flag with “COBB” written on it. The brief is Canary Yellow and has black trim around the leg openings and the sides of the closed-contoured double-lined crotch. The material is 92% cotton and 8% spandex. They are designed and made in the EU.

What we like: The moment you pick these up, you can tell they are a good quality pair of underwear. They have a low rise, but the snug fit of the material and elastic band assure the wearer that he won’t be left exposed when bending over or moving around. The color scheme is eye-catching without being flashy.

What we don’t like: They can feel a bit snug, especially in the crotch.

When we’d wear them: When we need to be assured of solid support. Under a tight-fitting pair of pants.

Who we’d recommend them to: Guys who like a snug fit. Guys who are somewhere between a size small and medium. Anyone who is a fan of Scandinavian design.

Describe these underwear in 3 words: Scandinavian. Sleek. Canary.
