Item Reviewed: Claesen’s No1 Pima 2-Pack Brief Pink Paisley

About the product: The Claesen’s No 1 Pima Brief Pink Paisley is a low-rise brief made from 10% lycra and 90% Pima cotton, a type of cotton from Peru that is well regarded for its softness, durability, and resistance to pilling. The contoured pouch contains a two-button fly, each of which is detailed with the company’s name and colored to match both the waistband and the stitching along the seams. The maroon elastic waistband is laser cut with the company’s name on the front and logo on the back. There is a small tag on the left side of the briefs with the Claesen’s No1 logo.

What we like: These Claesen’s No1 briefs are both comfortable and stylish. Yes, they’re pink. Yes, they’re paisley. So what? While some guys might have a hard time looking past this color/pattern combination, we strongly encourage them to get over it. These are definitely not your grandfather’s classic pair of briefs.

What we don’t like: After a few washes, a stitch or two can begin to fray so keep an eye out for that. Also, be sure to check sizing as they can run a little big, especially around the leg openings.

When we’d wear them: When we want to add a little something extra to the night’s outfit and know that, at some point, the pants will be coming off.

Who we’d recommend them to: A guy who’s tired of the same run-of-the-mill underwear and looking to branch out into something new and different. A non-conformist.

Describe these underwear in 3 words: Fun. Unique. Unexpected.
