Charity fundraiser events are a staple in the fashion community. Many companies and individuals like to give back to the less fortunate, this is no different for Wood at Girl’s Night Out hosted by Southbay Magazine.
Girl’s Night Out is a charity fundraiser that raises money for the Special Olympics World Games – that’s why it’s so exciting to have Wood at Girl’s Night Out. The Special Olympics World games is an international competitive event for athletes with intellectual disabilities. Fifteen percent of all ticket and boutique sales went to the Special Olympics and the rest of raised funds was dispersed between Manhattan Beach, Hermosa Beach, Redondo Beach, and El Segundo.
This is the 3rd Annual Girls Night Out and it brings together the South Bay community for an evening of high-fashion and private shopping, in the name of charity! It took place on on May 8th, 2015 at Manhattan Beach, CA. Attendees were treated to runway shows, gift bags, complimentary hors d’oeuvres and wine, and boutique shopping! And we know the gang at Wood at Girl’s Night Out had the best time as well.
This event featured a Wood runway show with Pierre Abena and Williams Dostes of Wilhelmina Models. Those in attendance were gifted with a sneak peak at the Wood Loungewear Collection and new underwear styles for Fall/Winter 2015. Bright blue and orange with linear designs graced the stage, building anticipation for what’s to come for Wood – and future Wood at Girl’s Night Out events.
