The Bodyaware Mercury Swim Brief ($22) and Swim Short ($19.95) would both give the water’s surface a run for its money. Each is designed with dazzling streaks in silver or turquoise, both against a midnight black background. The contrast allows for a maximum metallic effect. But what’s really going to catch the cute beach bum’s eyes are the line’s see-through features.
The Bodyaware Mercury Swim Line is made from a tactel frabic (96% polyester, 4% spandex) that’s slightly transparent when worn. The light, stretchy material expands to let a little skin show from beneath. And if showing a little skin just isn’t enough, the Bodyaware Mercury Swim Brief is also designed with black mesh panels on either side of the pouch. These are meant to be seen through, and make for a much bolder tease. The swim brief also has a drawstring waist and contoured pouch.
The Mercury Swim Short has a more reserved look, shaped like a square cut. The added material means more metallic shine. The swim short has a seamless front and back, yet still contours both your sides with a special piece between the legs. Black side panels also give the look some fashion sense to compliment its flash.
The Bodyaware Mercury Swim Line is available in sizes S – 2XL.
