aussieBum is updating their popular collection of BeeBee Boardies ($51.80) for swim season 2015. Four new designs have been added to the collection. Three of them are updated florals—the Tropics, Island, and Botanic prints. Their trendy uses of color work like Miracle-Gro for the flowers, making them stand out against board short’s body color. The fourth design, the Flick print, is more colorful and the most buoyant, looking like fashionable paint splatter.
Previous looks in the aussieBum BeeBee Boardies line were designed with a floral-meets-sporty approach; white flowers and white text on bright bodies. Other previously released styles were more in-tune with the Flick BeeBee Boardies, bright and bubbly. The aussieBum BeeBee Boardies updates aren’t as loud. The new styles are more fashionable, especially the Island and Tropic looks. Both are designed with a brown waistband that compliments the black and yellow board short bodies, respectively. The brown contrasts also emphasize the flower colors on both board shorts.
aussieBum BeeBee Boardies are designed to fit just above the knee. Made from a stretchy fabric blend of 95% polyester and 5% spandex, they fit nicely against the body and move with you while you wade in the surf. Unlike most swimwear, aussieBum BeeBee Boardies are not designed with an inner mesh lining. Instead, a “silicone grip texture” on the inside of the board short’s material keeps them from riding up.
aussieBum BeeBee Boardies are available in sizes S-XL.
