Similar to a V sit-up, toes-to-bar are a killer ab workout. The trick is in how far you extend your core, and because of the toes-to-bar motion, you hit your abs completely and full-on. In the Instagram video, you can see how Go Green extends his core by watching his waist. Because the exercise is done hanging from a bar, how you extend and use your legs is also critical.
If you watch the video, you can see that Go Green gives a small kick when his feet near the bar. This small move keeps some momentum in the motion. You’ll also want to watch his knees and hips. By keeping them tight, Go Green makes sure to really utilize his abdominals to complete each rep.
