Double unders are big with crossfit junkies. They’re one of those exercises that looks easy from the outside. But in the heat of them, they test your coordination and cause you to break one hell of a sweat. Not to mention, you’ll have to jump like you haven’t since grade school. And even if you know how to jump rope, double unders are going to require practice.
One of the more common mistakes when doing double unders is rotating your entire arm to move the rope. Instead, just flick wrist. This is more difficult than you would expect, and you’ll want to get a quick rhythm down before attempting to jump higher. You also want to jump with your feet about as far apart as your shoulders. Watch the video to see Go Green demonstrate them correctly.
