This Instagram video from Go Green shows a snippet from an intense gym session that uses a variety of exercises to work the entire body, and to break a sweat. Go Green’s set lasts 20 minutes and is done EMOM. He combines push presses, kettlebell swings, squats, a rowing machine and more for an incredibly efficient gym routine. But what really makes it efficient and effective is the variety of motions in it.
Variety is key to getting in shape. If your body gets too used to a movement, it could be time to find a new one that works the area differently. Either that, or it is time to increase resistance. The point is to push yourself, and keeping your body on its toes with a variety of exercises helps you pay attention to the form of each exercise you do. We can’t say it enough: form is key.
