GO Green Fit: Strength Bench Press

The bench press is usually one of the first things that people try out when getting into a gym routine. It is the standard when it comes to building your chest. In this Instagram video, Go Green demonstrates bench presses lifting heavier amounts than usual. He goes for five sets of five reps, and then moves on to 1×20 rep max.

If you are unfamiliar with the correct form for doing bench presses, pay close attention to how Go Green grips the barbell in the video. As always, it is smart to assess how much you can lift before attempting any rep maximums. Typically, you want to use an amount that you can manage lifting for eight reps.
