GO Green Fit: Toe-To-Bar, Wall Balls

Our NYC-based crossfit trainer is back to make us break a sweat. In this workout video, he combines three separate exercises. He starts with 10 toe-to-bar movements and then moves into 10 muscle snatches. He closes the routine with 10 wall balls. The routine here calls for 5 sets of 10 reps for each exercise. If you aren’t impossibly sore by the end of this, you did something wrong.

The toe-to-bar move is designed to do some heavy duty work on your abs and arm strength. And while it looks like a simple movement, it takes a great deal of strength and practice to nail it. They key is in your hips, just like several other exercises used for crossfit training. You’ll also want to stretch your hamstrings before attempting this one. The wall balls are another great way to break a sweat, and your thighs will feel like stone after a while. But if you do them right, the wall ball exercise is great for all-around conditioning. Watch the trainers form in the video, it is spot-on.

Have you tried the toe-to-bar and loved the results enough to implement it into your own workout routine? Tell us about it in the comments below or by tweeting us @underwearexpert.
