This super set of jumping rope and power cleans is all about explosive power. Jumping rope will elevate your heart rate and warm up your lower joints which will be beneficial before starting the power clean. If you know how to do a power clean, you know the lift takes its toll on your lower body. This makes jumping rope a great precursor to the power cleans. Crossfit is all about having a high heart rate and compound body movements. The combination of these two exercises hits both of those marks. If you want to try this combination, be aware that the majority of the effort in this workout will come from the power clean.
