This video from our go-to trainer is all about agility and getting that heart rate up. There are three exercises total to this quick routine: kettlebell swings, double unders, and lateral pvc jumps. Each of this exercises includes cardio with the kettlebell the only one with any added weight. In the video, our trainer does 5 kettlebell swings, 8 lateral jumps, and 30 double unders. This is another speedy routine if you are pressed for time and need a fitness fix.
All three exercises will also utilize whatever strength you have in your legs. Starting with the kettlebells, you should feel a slight pulling in your hamstrings. And then once you start into the lateral jumps, you should be feelings a burn. The last two exercises will especially test your legs. And they essentially work the same areas, just with different motions. Doing all these exercises for time however makes the entire routine more demanding as far as cardio is concerned.
