As underwear brands release a bevy of new styles and colors in preparation for beach season, we rounded up the best spring swimwear pieces so far this year. We can’t wait to hit the water and splash around in some of our favorites. Seriously, we’ve considered filling up a kiddie pool here in the office. Okay, yes—we did it. We filled up a kiddie pool.
Wading through the many new releases and picking our favorite spring swimwear looks, we noticed some trends many of them have in common. Bold yet warm shades of primary colors are cropping up across a number of different styles, and our favorites incorporate them with interesting design techniques including color blocking, subtle accent detail, and a variety of simple patterns and prints. We chose a number of different styles, from trunks to bikinis and a few flattering cuts in between.
Check out our favorite spring swimwear in this exclusive photo shoot for The Underwear Expert shot by Aydin Arjomand, and let us know what you’ll be splashing around in this season!
