C-IN2 introduces a new one-of-a-kind collection of underwear that fuses light and dark colors together. Available in stores in early February, the C-IN2 Gradient collection offers three color combinations such as remix red and clearwater teal, buff blue and grass green, and hopeful yellow and dark blue.
The new Gradient range is an extension of C-IN2’s Pop Colors collection but with a dip-dye look. To achieve the unique look of the Gradient range, C-IN2 used a method similar to tie-dying clothes. Each piece is dipped twice by hand into a vat of dye; this method adds strategically placed splashes of color to each item. Because the dying process differs from style to style, no two garments appear the same and each item is completely unique.
“I like to create different types of product and this collection falls into the ‘one-of-a-kind’ category,” Gregory Sovell, creative director of C-IN2, told the Underwear Expert. “We are encouraged to keep things new and we have offered stripes for the past few seasons. Since it seems like everyone else is into stripes these days, it was time for us to move onto the next trend.”
Similar to the brand’s upcoming spring 2013 Pop Colors collection, the Gradient range consists of bright, captivating colors. Sovell came up with the new colors after seeing an array of bright colors on the beaches of the Mediterranean. The new collection will be updated with new colors on a seasonal basis.
The new series is made from 100% cotton knit and consists of the brand’s popular styles. These styles include the sport brief ($24), army trunk ($28), low no-show profile brief ($24), profile brief ($24) and street jockstrap ($18).
The C-IN2 Gradient collection is available in S-XL.
