Just because it’s too chilly for those of you who have to put up with the cold weather, doesn’t mean you can’t rock out in sizzling hot winter colors offered for men’s underwear. Scores of underwear brands have released sexy alternatives to the traditional colors that can spice up your underwear drawer this season.
This season’s popular choices of men’s outerwear showcase muted shades of black, white and grey. So why not add a brightly colored brief or trunk to your ensemble for a truly sexy fashion statement? More and more men’s underwear brands are offering original shades of red, blue, purple, pink and green to their winter collections. Check out these latest trends.
No other color better complements skin tones and exudes self confidence than pink. 2(X)IST, Calvin Klein Underwear, Bodyaware and Andrew Christian provide their own spins of pink for the winter season. Andrew Christian took it to a new level with the introduction of bubble gum to its Color Vibe collection. The collection launched last July and consists of affordably priced styles such as the Color Vibe Brief ($14, shown) and Color Vibe Boxer Brief ($16). Bubble gum gives consumers more playful options with the range’s colorful selections. The brief and boxer brief also feature gold and white lining on the waistband.
Blue may seem like a traditional choice for the winter season but this shade is offered in a variety of hues from Baskit, Calvin Klein Underwear and Bodyaware. Showcasing an electric shade of blue, Bodyaware’s Exquisite collection, which consist of sculpting briefs, body boxers (shown), G-strings and briefs ($17.50-$24.95), features azure blue. This electric color offers a lustrous effect on this range’s silk fabric. What’s more, the Exquisite collection offers contrast leg openings.
Often paired with red during the holiday season, green stands alone as a stylish selection for any dark ensemble. House of Holland, Rufskin and C-IN2 offer unique interpretations of green. C-IN2 captured a tranquil presence with dark emerald in the updated Zen collection. This shade of green offers a relaxing look compared to traditional shades of green. The Zen collection consists of a slider brief ($26), punt brief ($28), active sport brief ($26), street jock strap ($20) and army trunk ($30, shown).
Red is one of the most sought-after colors during the winter season for its holiday-inspired appeal but it can spruce up your wardrobe even after Christmas. Emporio Armani, Papi and Calvin Klein Underwear spice things up with bold choices of red. Calvin Klein Underwear’s Micro Modal collection offers brilliant red, which gives a memorable, vivid presence compared to other choices of red. The Micro Modal collection consists of a trunk ($28) and boxer brief ($28, shown).
Each season, one color truly stands out from the conventional colors. And, this season, we saw a resurgence of purple. Combining purple underwear with even the most classic men’s wardrobe will set you apart from the crowd. Calvin Klein Underwear, Andrew Christian and Cover Male upped their ante of purple underwear options. Cover Male went a step further by updating its entire line, which includes the brand’s popular Cheeky Boxer ($23, shown), with a dark shade of purple.
