Swedish-underwear brand Bjorn Borg released a short, promotional video that shows a man and woman stripping off their clothes and proudly strolling through the streets of Stockholm as they appear naked with pixels concealing their bits. But as they strut throughout the Swedish capital’s shopping district, the couple is actually wearing promotional underwear for the limited edition Bjorn Borg pixelated long johns.
As seen in the video (shown below), the limited-edition long underwear’s signature characteristic is a design featuring pixelated genitals. This unique design gives the impression that the wearer is naked but has somehow had his or her money maker pixelated.
Björn Borg has created racy marketing campaigns that feature a good amount of skin to promote its products in the past. In 2011, an image of two naked men proved too racy for Facebook. The photo was later erased from the brand’s page.
But Bjorn Borg has developed a new approach with the launch of its pixel long johns, which is set to be released in the near future.
“Björn Borg kids are streaking around @Sweden! Pixels to keep it YouTube-friendly,” the company said on its official Twitter account in connection with the launch.
