Aurelien Febvay: A Rising Star

Aurelien Febvay of De Paris Scouting is relatively new to the modeling scene, but his quick rise has not gone unnoticed by those in the know. He has already been photographed by such talented professionals as Tom Chapelin, Kevin Aulia and William Chandra. In the below series, the young man with classic blue collar looks is photographed by Wong Sim. Sim mixes black and white photos with color shots to capture Febvay’s hard angles and textured hair against various city backgrounds. Febvay leans against concrete walls and metal beams as he is photographed in what appears to be a parking garage and a construction site.

Representing a romantic view of the working class, Aurelien Febvay wears a denim jacket in most of Sim’s photos. In one, he wears a denim vest, showing off the strength of his shoulders as he lets a cigarette hang from his lips. He wears simple, utilitarian undergarments throughout the series such as a shallow white v-neck and understated briefs. This casual, workman apparel accentuates Febvay’s strong features and natural ability to hold the attention of the viewer. We’re excited to see more of Aurelien Febvay in the future.
