Agassi Wears Charlie by Matthew Zink

Jonathan Agassi wears Charlie by Matthew Zink in this new series of photos, posing in a kitchen with 70′s finish. Charlie by Matthew Zink is a swim lifestyle brand that focuses on instilling a sense of hedonism and glamour into its products. The brand was founded in 2011 by Matthew Zink who had previously worked for Victoria’s Secret. Zink wants to create provocative swimwear, citing “the timeless style icons of the 70′s” as inspiration.

The polaroid-esque shoot stays true to Zink’s vision and the swimwear has an appealing retro look that is right at home with the fake wood cabinets and green counters. Zink doesn’t sacrifice wearability for style, however. Despite the swimwear’s obvious 70′s inspiration, it wouldn’t look out of place at beach or in a pool today. Throw-back fashion is a trend we’ve been seeing from several brands both on and off the runway, and it’s good to see it executed so purposefully by Matthew Zink.
