New British underwear brand Urban Active mens underwear, which regularly tests its mens underwear on members of the British Air Force, releases its new collection of pro-stretch trunks (£7.99). Currently available, the trunks are available in black, grey and white.
The Liverpool-based Urban Active mens underwear made headlines recently for updating Prince Harrys underwear (they sent him 100 pairs of their trunks, to be exacty, after naked photos of the royal ginger surfaced on the Internet). The new underwear brand also recruited two servicemen and three of their civilian friends from a local gym to take to the streets of Liverpool wearing Urban Active mens underwear in an exclusive photo shoot.
The Urban Active mens underwear trunk is produced from 95% cotton and 5% spandex. Additionally, the waistband is 4.5 centimeters wide.
“We wanted to make it affordable and at the same time to make it urban and active,” Alan Hayes, co-founder of Urban Active mens underwear, told The Underwear Expert. “It also has a nice feel to it, and the grey 4.5-centimeter waistband looks good on a male body.”
According to Hayes, Urban Active mens underwear will soon be offering mens underwear in microfiber and a modal blend T-shirt. Members of the BAF are currently sampling both upcoming releases. “A lot of Army lads were telling us their underwear in the past was not up to sport,” said Hayes. “What we made are fine for them and can be used as an everyday pair just to wear.”
The range is available in S-XL.
