This week in celebrity underwear sightings, it’s all about the boy bands and the athletes – men versus boys. It’s pretty clear which team wins this round.

Men

Tim Tebow took off his shirt for Vogue (which for the ultra-conservative quarterback is like stripping naked and dipping himself in chocolate sauce). Jeff Backus of the Detroit Lions unintentionally showed us that he’s a jock man by bending over and showing his straps through translucent pants. Frustratingly attractive Italian soccer star Marco Borriello reminded us how much better his life is than ours as he washed himself on his boat and strolled around the beach.

Boys

Conor Kennedy went for a walk with his girlfriend, Taylor Swift. Kennedy is definitely not dressing the part of the country star’s boyfriend, nor does he look like a member of an absurdly powerful political family. Liam Payne of One Direction hung out on a boat in possibly the least interesting nautical garb you could possibly wear. Finally, The Wanted lined up and dropped their pants for We Love Pop. Most of them actually look pretty good, but for some reason one decided to wear XXL boxer shorts. Go figure.
