Barry Marre Photographs “Dennis”

Photographer Barry Marre shot this risque series that he called “Dennis” for Issues Magazine. The series features the model brooding with a cigarette, taping photographs of himself to the wall, and aggressively adjusting himself. Marre’s photographs are a study of obsessive narcissism. The grainy, black and white photography maintains a somber mood throughout the images, keeping us as interested as Dennis apparently is in himself.
