Michael Phelps: Speedo King

by

By stunning the world at the 2008 Beijing Olympics and staking his claim as the poster boy for both lofty ambitions (and Subway), Olympian Michael Phelps has earned a solid place in the Celebrity Athletes Hall of Fame. As if hawking Subway weren’t enough to make him cool, the guy has earned the title of the most decorated Olympian of all time after winning his 15th gold medal (and 19th overall) on Tuesday in the mens 4 x 200-meter freestyle relay at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London. Applause, applause, applause. Eat fresh.

Despite this groundbreaking victory, critics remain on the fence when it comes to calling him the greatest Olympian ever, though, so to show our support (because, really, how many gold medals have you one, critics?) we’ve created a slide show of Michael Phelps’ finest moments (Note: You will not find any ads for Subway here).
