Colby Melvin is one of the newest members of the Andrew Christian model brigade. A recent Los Angeles transplant (he moved from Dallas just weeks ago), Colby has been well received and already has nearly ten thousand Facebook fans. Starring in Andrew Christian’s two most recent videos, “The Newbie” and “A Brief Romance,” it would seem the newcomer model isn’t going anywhere at all.
Devin Mitchell, the photographer of the below photos, is based out of Phoenix, Arizona. His work has been seen in Rage Monthly and Ion magazines. As a former hip-hop choreographer, his style is very eclectic and utilizes his organic flow learned from his time as a dancer “to create powerful poses and physical structure through composition and artistic direction,” according to his website.
On his influences, he has stated: “The first photographer I was ever captivated by was Justin Hyte. His fashion photography and the way he captures the elegance of women in couture clothing is just outstanding.”
