The Look:  Smoldering. The horizontal-striped mesh showed just enough skin in just the right places. Lodoli smartly doubles the fabric over the pouch so that it’s not indecent to wear around, but on the legs and in the rear, the mesh acts like a veil, coloring the skin underneath and drawing the eye in. The red legbands cap off the legs with a punch, and the doubled diagonal logo on the waistband adds just enough visual movement.

The Fit:  Tight, but silky. This pouch was a change, after having tried on a few enhancing briefs in a row.  We were packed in tightly, but it wasn’t uncomfortable in the least, and the mesh allowed air to flow so we didn’t sweat. The seat was snug, too, but the legbands were not, leading us to believe that this brief was designed to hug the body tightly, not just that it was small on us.

The Construction:  Top-notch fabrics. Some of the best use of modal we’ve seen – the striped fabrication was a master stroke, and seemed to maintain its softness even after a few washes. The stitching on the seams was flat and unobtrusive, though seemed like it was strong enough to keep together. The pouch design was smart: not something often seen.

The Underwear Expert Opinion:  A solid, sexy pick.  Is Croatia an undiscovered underwear wonderland? If all of Lodoli’s offerings are this strong, we don’t see why they wouldn’t be a major player in the international market.  The assured lines, clever design and excellent materials all recommend this brief to anyone in the market for a sexy staple.
